In this article, I want to talk about my new practice : YOGA.
Until now, I was maintaining or improving my fit shape thanks to weight training, cardio and proper nutrition.
But since september, I have now added YOGA to my weekly schedule, as my gym provides some lessons. Right after the first session, I could already feel the huge benefits of YOGA, whereas it’s about my flexibility, my resistance or my well-being!
Before, I was skeptical about Yoga. I was thinking probably like most of you “Yoga seems boring and I need to EXERCISE AND MOVE, not relax!”. But lately, I got many “signs” that showed me I HAD TO TRY. (People talking to me about it… seeing articles about it…).
Well, let me tell you one thing, YOGA is not EASY at all! And I was far from feeling “relaxed” while practicing my first lesson haha! (and still don’t). While you are practicing the poses, your muscles are under serious tension! (see picture below for this yet simple movement!)

WHAT YOGA BRINGS ME :
– A great addition to my weight-training and cardio-training weekly routines. I gain more flexibility and strength,
– Variety to my trainings – It’s always good to vary your workouts!,
– Peace of mind, stress relieve. I am not a stressed person by nature (and I also work to keep it that way) but Yoga helps me feeling even better, more relaxed, brings me clarity, and peace of mind.
